Maitreyi girls were enthu when DT on campus reached their college. Even if they weren’t participating, they cheered loudly for their friends and made sure that they selected the best girl.

Maitreyi girls were smart, as they tried innovative ways to win the favour of the crowd. They didn’t stop at requesting the crowd only to vote for them, Shivani said, “If you like Shah Rukh or Hrithik, then vote for me.” Novel, alright!

However, the girls didn’t seem to like her idea too much. They dismissed her immediately. And that wasn’t all, some girls were booed out even before they could finish introducing themselves. Quite a practical crowd, this! Fourteen girls were chosen for the second round.
A warm welcome to all fuchchas!:
The choreography team had taken it upon themselves to entertain the crowd. They presented various dance sequences in between the various rounds. A sizzling performance on Jhoom Barabar Jhoom was enjoyed to the hilt. And the girls were overflowing with enthu, it seemed. They were hooting on the top of their voices and on more occasions than one, their volume had to be checked. Just before the final round, the choreo society performed on Dekha Jo Tujhe Yaar and this time the freshers just couldn’t resist. Even they got up to shake a leg.
The hit songs:
Hips Don’t Lie, Beedi Jaleyele, Kajre Re, Ganpat remained the favourite songs here too. DJ Sumit took the business of playing music quite seriously and actually danced for a while.
Neha’s take on Yeh Mera Dil could have made Kareena Kapoor proud.
Finally, Maitreyi girls chose Tapshi Dhanda as Ms DT.
